Elon musk generates the language he gets I hope he does go to mars I hope he fulfills his wish and puts earth in a situation where it has to decide if it’s going to send a follow up mission where earth has to decide if it’s going to support him it’s a constant responsibility to support a martian base well every 26 months it is you have to send 2 years worth of supplies and they don’t make em much smarter than me and I just see a complex nuanced matrix of complexity when I see whats necessary for the mars mission and i’m trained in the humanities not science so I see the need for sewage treatment the fact that the space suits could get soiled the need to clean the space suits the only ones you have I see someone needing to soil before they can get their suit off and it wrecks the mission I mostly see rectal problems and Mars on a long enough time line and then cleaning space suits from sweat and just general malaise how to spend free time which you have plenty of getting in and out of your space suit to sleep things like that garbage disposal from food kits just litter at free will there is no ecosystem to care about i’m a humanities major so I don’t see propulsion issues I see fragments of equipment failing and being unable to fix it I see people at the mercy of the elements I don’t see a master author explaining a day on Mars to let the world see whats in store for the martians I can do this but a real author someone that is trad published and writes in a professional tone if that author would write about the Martian day
