wouldn’t the high school students benefit from knowing how a quote works? like I just let you know the SLATE said something about 27 seats changing hands I quoted the slate rather than impur that I had all knowing knowledge rather than hype myself up I stayed humble and gave credit where credit is due if students were taught how to keep themselves from looking stupid they could be taught how to quote AI couldn’t they? like they can use AI as part of a quote? AI is like a search engine for things that don’t exist and it does a passing job a quotable job like if a student has to read Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare they could ask Claude for a synopsis that they can include with their paper if they printed out the synopsis to go with their paper it could be an actual quote like I would do in the real world with a link that makes sense but the point is to read Romeo and Juliet not write the paper the paper is extra that comes with school the point is to expose young intellect to WIlliam Shakespeare but in practice sharing your insight into your paper as a major quote you have to read Romeo and Juliet which is impossible to do but the teacher wants to see what you pull from the reading so the synopsis defeats the purpose but the student thinks it’s to understand the story and the teacher isn’t letting on that she’s applying process to the students but the Claude Synopsis helps understand the story better because it’s in the new god’s English and old gods English is indecipherable have Claude translate Shakespeare from Old English to New English so that we can get some decent English classes working here what am I trying to say teach quoting and referencing it makes the entire communication process better and credit can be given where credit is due
