why would you take $400 million from the sale of PayPal and pay Tesla and SpaceX and SOlar Panels and why would you pay to work? its hind sight but he could have stayed on with Pay Pal and been involved in banking the world over with his imagination just nothing we’re dealing with a Mars mission because some guy 22 years ago started Space X and his dream is coming true that’s someone else’s nightmare he could just send robots to mars for the first 200 years say 200 years of robots on Mars that further robotics and get the Martian landscape ready for humans and the moon as well just robots on the moon just rockets and robots
