LIke my dad was a professor and surgical assistant. It took me a conversation with his best friend at the funeral to be cool with referring to him as a surgical assistant I had been saying surgeon for years but no he’s a surgical assistant there’s honor in that that I don’t understand. He was a surgical assistant and a professor an adjunct professor at UC teaching biology. He died at 75 years of age and his death took away my fear of death if he can go through it so can I.
